Downtown Shell Knob MO Come Visit!
The original plan was to mix on the go just before the mixture exited the tube, but from what I understand the heat produced during the reaction will temporarily increase the volatilization of ammonia until the surrounding soil cools the mixture. So now I’m considering mixing and cooling it at a specific sight and then hauling it to the field, with a stainless tanker trailer.
We treat wet hay with NH3 so I know what kinds of energy it puts off, it will sure heat things up in a hurry.
Don’t worry Joe, I do have some ground that is good enough to seal anhydrous with a 6000 unit. Im just afraid that it might look kind of silly going across the field with the one 6000 unit I will be able to purchase with this years profits. :)
