Your first pass needs to made going into the wind. On the first pass the monitor calibrates itself for the size seed it is planting. If the first pass is made with the wind pushing you, the monitor will include the larger particles of dirt and trash into the calibtration equation and count it as seed also. I thought it was a BS story, check it out thru Case Assist, there is a bulletin on it
