yeah, have had this happen to my 4640. what my problem was was the cord got pinched when i hit a deep water furrow to hard and it bottomed out the front shock and pinched the wire the goes to the magnets. It looked fine, but the damage was done inside the sleeve of the wire, it could be this is your problem, or simply your speen sensor is failing...Good luck
