Bloomfield, KY. | Noticed while spraying today that the indicated rate was jumping around a good bit. Trying to spray 8 gpa, but getting that reading only momentarily before indicating a different rate--usually higher.
Figured it was some problem involving flow control, but on the way back to the barn I pushed the speed button on the controller, and found out I was travelling 0.0 mph in overdrive--no wait it was 10 mph, then 15, then 0, etc. Figure the speed reading is what is jumping around causing the rate reading to follow suit.
The sprayer has the wheel sensor with the magnets to determine speed. The controller is a Raven 460.
Any experience with this problem? It would be nice to get some of that good NAT advice--it has been very helpful in the past.
Thanks,
