Sumner GA, Located in southwest GA, | "Here" we do not use NH3 because most of it will go back in the air, our soils are so sandy, only a limited amount of NH3 will bind, and then too our soils leach so badly, nutrients have to be put out at time of use in most cases. Also tends to have an acidifying proptery here. I don't know where you would even buy NH3 around here now, dad put out some in the 70's but that was a while ago. Here it will either be liquid or dry. I prefer liquid myself, more versatile, but dry has it's place as well, have used both. |
