| In many states the required language in a notice to quit is offensive. Just write up a short release and ask him to sign it. Better yet ask the sellers to have him sign. You don't fire your football coach, you give him chance to resign. Same idea. It generally goes down much better. I've done this many times and I've never had a tenant refuse to sign a release, although sometimes I let them know I have a notice in my back pocket in case they don't want to sign. | |
