24D isn't that strong, the Spreader sticker is thou, and that is what "glues" the 24d to the entire plant long enough to work.

I use a hand gun and the widest finest adjustment so I'm going after the plant from the side NOT the top.

As long as the krap is actively growing you'll see results.
