| Biggest mistake most make is using way to much unit down pressure. With row cleaners, unless the soil is dry and hard, very little pressure is needed---just enough to keep the guage wheels on the ground. The old idea of needing lots of pressure to shove a wavey colter through a mat of stalks or straw is out when using row cleaners. Can save a bunch of compaction around the seedling and yield.
