If KCL was used in the 3-18-18 as the potash source, then it would be a bit much for the seed. If KOH was used in the 3-18-18, then it is one of the safest products of the low salts. That being said, in my replicated starter trials, whenever I used 1 gallon of 0-0-30 mixed with NPK in the seed trench I usually trimmed the yield slightly. That was not a popular theme with the company I was working with at the time.
