| I received a call from one of my customers to investigate a field of soybean stubble that had been sprayed with simazine & 2,4-D in the fall. The customer explained that it was getting green and wanted to know what was going on because his other fields that had been treated in the same fashion were all still good and clean like they are supposed to be. What I found was a 32 acre field completely covered with something called Star of Bethlehem. Since I can't seem to find much information on how to control this, I was hoping someone on here might have had some first hand experience. The field is located in southern Edgar County IL and is planned to go to RR corn. Thanks in advance for any tips. | |
