SESD | Hey Brent, Well, in my field they were pretty spotty, although where they grew they were good. I also didn't know there was a chemical to kill the wheat regrowth and not the cover, so it got sprayed with RDup which stopped the growth too soon. On dad's ground, we were waiting for hog manure to get applied and got them in in sept., so not alot of growth. Very good stand out there though.
Thanks for the heads up, I haven't been paying enough attention. Will put all our wheat stubble into cover this year. | |
