I'm not sure the research supports the aggressive statements made by the Agrotain rep in this industry sponsored article. I'm confident I have had much higher utilization rates of spring applied urea than those sited in the article. Of course, I don't usually have the damp cold conditions sited in the article. Soil scientists at the Akron USDA-ARS station nearby also suggest fairly low losses for spring applied urea.
