Subject: Beans back to beans

East Central Indiana
I am planning to put an 80 acre field back to beans this year and thought I would get some opinions. This isn't something new to my opperation, in our area we have much better luck growing 55-60 bu beans than we do 180-200 bu corn.

My question is what are your guys thoughts on sudden death and white mold. Those are the two biggest pressures that dropped yield for our area this past year. I noticed no signs of either in this field last year but that doesn't mean they couldn't be their. Another factor in the mix is I farm on the halfs with the land owner who isn't a fan of the high input cost of corn. I make all of the farming decisions now questions asked, but its always key to keep the land owner happy!

All thoughts welcomed
