Subject: RE: Building a Hydroswing Door

Roseglen, North Dakota
Tht is an excellent point about having hydraulic couplers. It is an option on the Hydroswing and could easily be put on any hydraulic door. Only one thing to remember--if you live in a cold climate (like ND) and it gets down to -10 to -30 you can have this scenario:

Our door manufacturer and installer recommended we put auto trans fluid in hydraulic circuit of the door; (makes sense--much lower pour point then hyd fluid)well, that is a no-no to mix with hyd fluid in tractor. If we had to do it over, would have put hyd fluid in door circuit so we could use tractor--don't have electricity to it yet. My .02
