Subject: tractor hours idle verses running hard

Bourbon, Indiana
Been reading the talk lately about oil, oil changes, filters and so on, and got to thinking, on the newer tractors is and hour an hour regardless weather its sitting there idleing or working hard? or does the "hour" become less of an hour when its under load? I hope this makes sense...lol. Same question goes with the older tractors that still the old cable and guage tach. does the hour come quicker with it under load verses idleing?

I"ve never thought about it this way and can't cinvince myself which way is right.

thanx
Brad
