IL. | Ok I have been thinking about posting this for some time so now here it is, I read on here use this brand don't use that brand ,cut this one open and so on, has ANYONE on here actually ruined a engine that could be directly linked to the oil filter? positive undisputed proof? I use Baldwin filters cause I get them reasonable, sometimes when I'm in a hurry and don't want to wait till I place a order I go to the local parts store and get Wix's I use delco's on my GM's I have rebuilt a number of engines over the yrs. and cannot say it was due to oil filter failure. not wanting to start a war but can anyone prove it?
