Boone, Iowa | I bought a 99 MX240 three years ago with 3500 hours. I said I would never buy a 99 model, since it was the first year for the MX. I put on a new fuel lift pump, updated the flex pipe on the exhaust, and installed an updated fuel temp/pressure switches on the injection pump. I had two outlets quit working, but were simple fixes. Also, had a steel line leak under cab, but was able to fix with a compression style hose end. I have been happy with this tractor and know some people do not want to buy these newer tractors with the electronics. I think that has built in a premium into the 89 series tractors. | |
