Pittstown, NJ | Or find a belt-drive lathe that age, maybe a milling machine, put in a line shaft to run them all, with a coal-fired flywheel-equipped steam engine outside to power it. Old paper mill near here had some of this stuff in the back of the machine shop when I worked there in 1993 . . . they had a bankruptcy auction when company folded a few years ago. I didn't see any of the old stuff listed, don't know what ever happened to it. Wish I could have got some of it, love that over-built old stuff. | |
