It wasn't cheap, but I bought a Kubota ZD326 zero turn. It will probably be the last mower I ever need to buy and I'm 42 years old. This thing is built like a tank. I don't think I've ever seen a deck with that much iron in it. It has a 60" deck and a 26 HP diesel engine. I had a JD 455 with 60" before and this thing pretty much cuts the mowing time in half. The big thing I like is the way it rides. It has a really comfortable seat and rides ten times better than any tractor type mower. This is a commercial grade mower which I think is what you need for four acres. I think the type of mower you are looking at will do you a good job but over the long haul I don't think it will hold up like the commercial rigs. To each his own. I felt a little foolish spending that much for a mower but now that I did I would do it again in a heartbeat. I won't argue there are probably some real decent mowers out there for half what I paid for mine.
