| Ok I'm going to do my best to describe what my brain is thinking
atm i have a 12/3 wire running on the ceiling . shop is at the beginning and this wire lights the cold side plus the single plug
red is single live plug at end of line
black has four switched lights for cold side of building switch is at entrance of barn
white is neutrel
what i want to do is to tap into this line run a 12/3 wire down the partion wall between heated shop and cold side and install a switch to turn off those four lights
idea is so then on heated side i can add four additional fluorescent lights in shop and not have the cold side lite unless this new switch is flipped
but how can i have a live plug at same location as new switch only using 12/3 wire ? i know i could have inline switched plug
