I just bought a new (to me 2009) Duramax. People complain about mileage but if I drive it decent I can get about 19 to 19.5 on the highway. In town about 14 to 15. The only gripe would be the DPF and getting to the fuel filter. I used to have a Dodge so the Cummins fuel filter location spoiled me I guess. It's really quiet.........when my wife first rode in it she asked why I bought a gasser.....Just my .02
