Ohio | Recently I brought an 02' F350 diesel 4x4 home from Missouri, clean truck, rust free, and not a dent on it. Had enough time to title, license it and park in front of the new shop. My youngest brother took it to town to get me some parts and rolled it when someone ran him off the road. He was traveling 30 MPH, The insurance totaled it due to the cab damage. Damage included whole passenger side and the top of the cab. I will try to get some pics on here later if I get a chance.
The insurance is going to let me get it back if I choose. Have any of you out there repaired anything like this. Drive train is perfect- 100K highway miles, starts easy cold. I found a complete cab for $1000.00, and can get a take off bed from an 08' for another $1000.00. I really don't mind fixing it, but I really don't want to get in over my head. Any advice, or personal experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, -John
