From what I've seen and heard the only things that work well for DDG's are drag chains and conveyors. Several years ago we got in some feed that was similar in substance to DDG's from a mill that had burnt up. We unloaded 17 loads of that stuff with our Westfield 10" swingaway auger and after the first 10 or so shearbolts on the first 2 or 3 trucks it was pretty easy to see that one of us was going to have to stay there and just make sure the truckers only opened their doors a couple inches. We had an old Feteral that we had some troubles with 10 years ago or more. Most of it can be chalked up to the hydraulic swing drive and the underbuilt frame. I live in Westfield country but as long as they've been making them they must be selling a decent product somewhere. As for the enclosed grease case on the end- why not?? Just one less thing you have to grease every day.
