The Original Lock Springs Rver Rat
Ray I have owned two of the 726 finishers my current one is same size as yours with the spike harrow.I also have had a lot of bolts break in some fields conditions with ditches,I imagine crossing terraces is your problem. I do not have good luck with the spike harrow in bean stubble as it will bunch, and some conditions are worse especially if the mulch is damp. Anyway I ordered a 5 bar tine harrow for it this winter,I am told this should eliminate the bunching,we shall see. I was never really impressed with how the spike harrow leveled anyway, and it needed all new bushings so I thought it would be time for a change. BTW, this harrow is easy to adjust the tine pitch which should be a big benefit compared to the adjustment on the spike harrow.
