Milford, Illinois | If it were me and I were worried about getting a chipped tractor, I'd just buy new. Then there would be no worries. I like to take very good care of a tractor, but if I take all the new tractor depreciation I don't think I owe the next buyer any guarantee that I didn't pull it hard or chip it. It seemed to be more acceptable 20 years ago to give the screw a half turn than it is now to spend $550 on a chip. And, by the way, I've never chipped a tractor before. Doesn't mean it would never happen in the future, but I don't foresee it now. | |
