SE Nebraska | I have a Deere 4000 gas that the engine is shot. No one on the planet seems to have pistons and liners for a 362. So, I'm thinking of putting in a 404 diesel. Will an early 404 bolt right in to the late tractor? The 404 would have the correct flywheel, starter, etc.. How about the exhaust hole in the hood lining up, need different manifold? Thanks
