This is the third time weve had to unthaw this leg since harvest. First time weve ever dumped hot corn on the farm. We have a cool dumper on the main farm and have never, never, never had legs full of crud through out the winter. Seems as though the bees wings (looks like mud) are falling off the sidewalls when thawing, then freezing to the bottom drum. Have dealt with two Millwrights in last ten years, one wont sell a new hot dump only in to leg setup, the other had 6 legs froze solid around Christmas time. Fan is on distributer, suppose if it were on top of leg it would help?
