| Because that sand isn't really clean it has dirt or fertilizer components in it and the profile varies across the field. Including some micros not present in the sewage sludge which also isn't consistent. Then the ground water availability depends on the depth of the sand and the laser leveling didn't change the varying depth of the sand, just smoothed the surface. Then the seed varied despite the careful blending at the seed house.
