WC KS | That being the case I would try Duerst in Burlington, colo. first. They rebuild all kinds of engines and would be use to special projects and may have other resources.
Scott in Ekhart specialized in IH engines. Their part supply maybe keeped as need. 'IT will be here in the morning' But they were around when the 549 was.
Freight on a whole 549 would be $$$ or even $$$$. not much Alum or pot metal. Definitely a big block v-8. but it was not as sweet IH 605. I could arrange for some one to salvage a full set. That would be cheaper and you have spares to sell or??? | |
