My 13 year old grandson caught 5 skunks in a box trap this summer. I think peanut butter worked the best. After they were caught he covered the trap up with a towell and was able to carry them to the river without getting sprayed. I was with him when he lowered the first one into the river to drown it. The towell came off and he saw the skunk struggling to stay alive and changed his mind about drowning it. We ended up boating all 5 skunks across the river and turning them loose.....without getting sprayed.

You have a GOOD SON!!!
The other day my wife looked out the window and observed the neighbor's son attempting to make their Lab dog go home. The dog appeared timid and laid down so the kid started dragging on its back down the gravel road! She being an animal lover jumped up and was going to the dog's rescue just as the kid quit.
