East Central Arkansas | The way I trap them from under houses is to block all openings except for the one that I set the trap in front of. I close that hole off to where it has a hole just big enough to place the open end of the trap in it. I recommend covering the trap with a piece of polypipe leaving both ends open. Be sure and cut a slit through the plastic to get the little wire handle to where you can get to it. You might want to tie a fairly long piece of rope on the handle.. When the skunk comes out at night you have him. Easy way to dispose is water if you have a deep ditch. If not a garbage barrel will work for water. While dragging trap go slow and easy. Make plans before you catch him. Don't use bait it only draws other varmits to mess up trap.
