Didn't grow any in 06. I am planting 90 acres this year. Didn't want too get to carried away, figured 90 acres wouldn't break me if it didn't pan out. I was told to plant this hybrid on better soil types. I am 50 miles north of STL, Mo in IL. Mine will go to Cargill at ESTL, IL. They still must be wanting some more production as they had their signs up when I was down there about a month ago.
If this corn will yield it looks like it holds a lot of promise for the production of both fuel and animal feed.
What type of value would removing the lysine and oil in the dry grind process have on the cost of producing Ethanol? | |
