Grabill, Indiana | We continue to test for DON in corn, DDGS, and complete feed samples. Fortunately the area of the worst contamination is smaller than we originally feared. However, the entire state of Indiana, Western Ohio, and Central and Southern Illinois have contaminated grain with the worst area in Northern Indiana.
I have reviewed test results ranging from .5 ppm DON all the way up to 17 so we have a large range of contamination, but the vast majority of the samples from Indiana are inthe 2 to 7 ppm range.
