Subject: Vomitoxin updates??

NE / NC INDIANA
Just wondering if anyone has any new or updated information on the handling of the Vomitoxin corn. The Ethanol plants in my area have tightened the vise and lowered their rejection thresholds and increased the discounts. Local elevators and terminals are reluctant to even give bids because they haul to the Ethanol plants themselves. Crop insurance is only a topic for those of us who have 'RA' or 'CRC', those with county insurance have no clause for grain quality period. Even with 'RA' insurance I have gotten merely trickles of info from the company on how this will be handled. My federally inspected grain test the crop insurance company sent off came back at 14.7ppm. Originally they said anything over 10ppm would be considered crop destruction and a total loss, now they seem unsure?? Would appreciate anyones updates or thoughts from those also experiencing this challenging situation.
