It took me a while to realize your tough was a pipe coming out of the ground. I still don't see how you could get that valve out of the 18" pipe nor do I understand the pull pipe. Does this thing just come loose real easy and how does it keep from leaking water at the connections? Also what would keep a small animal from taking a swim and drowning in the pipe? That is pretty much the design of a Cobett except he uses a basket for water only. Ben
