It is my understanding that there is two things, maybe more causing the test wieght to increase as the corn dries down. The first is when the kernels dry down they get smaller or they change in physical shape allowing more kernels to fit in a certain volume. Also as the kernels get drier they get more slippery allowing them to fit togetter more tightly.
