Kindersley Sk. | Thanks for the response. Dimlin is interesting too, and it is registered in Canada, but I think finding a supplier located in the west might be a problem. I will probably have to get it from Ontario. Which I'm willing to do, it is just more hassle.
I envision using Dimlin on roadside ditch grass bordering crop when the grasshoppers are small, and Nolobait better suited to being applied on chemfallow land that borders cropland. I have found out from past experience that grasshoppers are more inclined to eat bran based baits if they applied adjacent to vegetation rather than in it.
If I end up trialing any of these products next year I'll keep Crop Talk posted on the results. | |
