I mounted a generic deerelesss version on my Spray-Coupe. It works fine. Actually, I wish I'd done it even before the EZ-Steer days. Much handier to wheel the sprayer around with the knob than it was just using a regular steering wheel.

A word of caution may be in order for the younger set, concerning the origins of the suicide moniker attached to such knobs. Short sleeve shirts or well rolled up shirt-sleeves don't present near the problem as buttoned shirt-sleeve cuffs.
