| Finished yesterday about 3:30. Had time yet to take the two-way out of the combine and a few other things that I had added on and drive it to the dealer to stop the interest on it. The new 9870 is being built the third week of December. We had about a 10 acre mud hole that I cut first yesterday morning when the ground was still frozen and then had about 80 acres on the creek bottom that was flooded out back in June and replanted on the 4th of July. This was some dry land corn. I can't ever remember cutting corn on frozen ground or even cutting corn in December. This Fall harvest started back the third week of September, about a month late and ended yesterday, about a month late. Glad it's over! | |
