The 315 yield was on a section of corn the size of 2 city blocks sqaure and not a short one time hit on the yield monitor. Misoouri and S Iowa growers have had entire field averages of 240-250 several times this year. That is an advatange of rolling ground in a very wet year. Flat fields didn't fair so well.
