We are hundreds of miles away from the nearest dealer. (Nearest used to be only a few miles away 'til they closed.)

For example, for our NH I keep spare belt, belt repair section, lacing, lacing cables, lacing applicating tool, as well as pickup fingers, pickup guards, twine knife, hydraulic hose, and the four most common or critical bearings used in the machine.

Also essential is my own parts book and factory service manual for all machines, these can be bought new from dealer or used from ebay. Easily worth getting.

As for ideas on what parts to stock, the back of the parts books from New Holland at least has a suggested list of parts for the dealers to stock for that machine.
