eastern Kansas
Don't know, but i know there are some they like better than others. 35P10 an older Pioneer variety which probably is not planted anywhere but here anymore must be like candy to deer and coons. every year we plant it in a test plot it gets decimated from one end to the other. split the planter 6 and 6 in several fields this year and the deer even seemed to prefer the stalks as well as the ear on it to the other variety. Have seen this year after year. Lesson from now on i guess only plant entire fields to it and not the small patches. Wish we could get away from it but seems to still be the most consistent for our early short season corn on low yielding fields
