Resolve should work on small fall panicum (less than 2" or 5 cm) fairly well at the 1 oz rate. It works better when using crop oil and spiked with a little atrazine (if you can). At V4 (less than 12 inches or 30 cm) you should be okay from a crop safety standpoint provided the crop is not under stress. Once corn gets close to 6 collars, I'd stay clear of any SU chemistry applications.

The shielded glyphosate application would worry me plenty. I think I'd take my chances with paraquat before I'd try glyphosate. It only takes a drop to kill a corn plant deader than four o'clock.
