You forgot, though John, that this is SUMNER county, where all a very high percentage of the people think will grow is wheat. And if they do rotate, it is about 9 years of wheat, and 1 year of milo. I can almost guarentee that next year will be dry, though. A few farmers planted a lot of beans, milo and sunflowers this summer because of the freeze and also dome DC, and they did pretty well. There will probably be more next year from some that don't normally plant anything but wheat. It will be hot and dry, they won't do well, and those people will be back to saying that you can't raise anything but wheat in Sumner County.
