Markers stay up for me except on the end rows. Marker wings on my 1770 are a real PIA because of fence rows. If I had to drop the markers every turn, auto pilot would not be worth having.

Turn as deep as you can into the end rows and after a few hours run time you will normally be close on the guess row.
