One thing I'll compliment Deere on with this 7720 - the cylinder swings the auger out with a ¼" soft bolt. This is a turret style auger so any error by the operator snaps the soft bolt and the auger swings back.
Only broke the bolt once in 24 years and there was no damage to anything (except the ¼" bolt of course).
GGGRRRRR!! My turn to vent!!
