Subject: Auger turret position sensor bad

Pittsburg, Kansas

That would be my first guess also. If the auger locator switch ends up being the problem I would have a serious talk with the service manager about the bill. That is a common problem that should have been the first thing the tech checked. The 7720 series used to do the same thing with the manual control when someone sat on the arm rest while riding with the operator and leaned back too far, holding the auger hydraulic fold lever in the folding position.  Doesn't take too long holding the hydraulic pressure at pop off pressure and running it through the relief valve to heat the oil up beyond what the oil coller will dissipate. The fix for the 9600 is to upgrade to a timed auger return system instead of the position locator switch that is on top of the auger turrit.
