After reading the responses I realize how deficient we were in horsepower.

This machine hasn't been used in 8 years, had been through a flood and looked like it had been in a fire. It required quite a bit of work. Spindles were siezed, it was missing some hitch parts etc etc. I don't know how we could have got it going without our own lathe. The $3000 doesn't take into account LOTS of time...... The dealer ended up with it and all they wanted out of it was trucking and the time it took to pressure wash it clean enough to please the customs agents.

Here, a 12 by 500 bag costs $2000 Canadian.

Yeah it has the potential to get muddy. We haven't opened it yet. The skid steer will stay away from there I think.
