so most of the suggestions that many will give on here may be suggestions that AgLeader may have already tried, but you may have to amuse us.

Would start with the basics. Speed module, Moisture module, and flow sensor are all on CAN system. Most of the time AgLeader guys will have you unplug everything on the can. So that is the smaller rectangle deutsch connector going into module that says CAN. Leave them unplugged and fire up EDGE. Also leave GPS unhooked. Edge should still power up without crashing. If it does fire up, plug in one module at a time and verify green flashing light. If EDGE ever fails when connecting one of the modules that is probably your culprit.

Something very simple is take EDGE out of combine and use the 110 power cord that they give you to use it in the house or shop.

Being said if EDGE fails without any module hooked up to it. Your gut feeling of a crappy EDGE is probably true. Get a service unit of EDGE or Insight. Both can use same wireing. Sounds like they may be getting you a unit to work with. If they don't see if you have a neighbor around you could borrow one from. Make sure they do a backup of their monitor before you use it.

Sorry if any of this is repetitive from what you or dealer may has already tried.
