If your thinking Hawaii, don't go with a schedule.  Instead have things to do and figure out which day would work best for you.   Rent a car and drive around.  Peral Harbor is easily a day event.  There is plenty to see and do on one Island only.  Don't waste vacation in airports waiting on flights to other Islands. 

Air fare is cheaper now than it has been in a while.
